HAZEN Girls Soccer Booster Club Offers Scholarship
The Hazen Girls Soccer Booster Club announces the First Annual Hazen Soccer Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded each year to a graduating senior who has played on the Hazen High School girls soccer team. All applicants must have played on the team during her senior year, and be in good standing.
One $500 scholarship award will be applied toward the recipient’s tuition or fees in any accredited university, college, technical or trade school. This award must be used during the school year following high school graduation. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of:
1. Academic achievement (must have a grade point of 2.5 or better to apply)
2. Activities: Active participation in school and the community
3. Written responses
4. References
Application due date: Postmarked by: January 31, 2012
Scholarship recipient to be notified by: March 1, 2012
